Procrastination

I was supposed to write a post about procrastination last night, but well, you see, what had happened was…

I tried.  I really did.

Honest.

I turned on the computer and placed it on the table.  I even plugged it in.  I had been told recently that battery health is as important as my own personal health.  (the person who said that may or may not have been an IT professional)

It was ready to go.  And arguably, so was I.

I sat down in the chair but here’s where it all went wrong.  I picked up my phone.  And as I am sure you can understand, that was it for me for the rest of the evening.

I fell down a Twitter rabbit hole and when I finally resurfaced my eyes were blurry, my neck was aching and I just wanted to go to bed.

So, I turned off the computer and went off to dreamland.

Today is a new day.  I will get something done.

But a post about procrastination?  Probably not.

Maybe next time.

  1. I feel like I’ve done this too many times…I also have the habit of completely spacing out, just staring at my screen. Ugh!
