I am so close.  I can see the finish line.  You don’t know how excited I am about being but pages away from finishing the first round of edits on this Work In Progress.

Right.  Yes.  Editing.  The thing I am doing.

I did get back to it after I took that nap I mentioned previously.  I actually motored along and got through quite a bit, but now I find myself listening to 80’s love songs and searching for meaning in each note all while trying to get through the last few chapters.

I mean, have you ever sat down and really listened to those songs?  They just don’t write them like that nowadays.  I mean, “Mandolin Rain” by Bruce Hornsby and “In Too Deep” by Genesis – how can a girl concentrate?

Turn if off?  I’m sorry, I can’t do that.  I’m too far gone now.  Let me have a good cry and I will get right back to editing.
