It has been a heckuva year, this 2022.

As I sit with Random, eating super hot chicken wings and we watch Rocky III, learning lessons about family and perseverance, I hope you are surrounded by love, friendship, and family as we turn the page on 2022.

My hope for all of us in 2023 is that we open ourselves to the wonder and possibilities of a new year. I wish you all love, joy and peace this next trip around the sun can provide!

I’m going to get back to this movie night and enjoy this piece of 80s nostalgia, starring a young Sylvester Stalone, Carl Weathers, Mr. T, and Hulk Hogan.

My favourite line so far is Mikey screaming, “Run for your life!” while Hulk Hogan’s character Thunder Lips terrorizes Rocky in the ring in the first act.
